Lapu-Lapu City College shall a well known globally as a model institution of excellence for outstanding academic and technical programs that prepare students for lifelong learning and improve economic vitality and quality of life.

MISSION

This vision is driven forward by its commitment to:

• Profound and excellent education through less expensive tertiary education;
• A culture of extending necessary and essential services to the marginalized sectors of Lapu-Lapu City; and
• Knowledge acquisition, accumulation and application for global competence.

GOALS & OBJECTIVES

Within the milieu of its vision and mission, Lapu-Lapu City College commits itself to the following directions to:

1. reinforce our teacher education , criminology, industrial technology and technical-vocational programs for a high percentage of Board Passers and National Competency/Certificate II, as a result, accelerate their employability and efficiency;

2. propose courses at their least expense to the less fortunate but deserving individuals of Lapu-Lapu City;

3. encourage scholarly pursuits and creative activity through maximizing the utilization of information for teaching and learning, research and management of the College;

4. consider various relevant perspectives-political, socio-cultural, civic-military and spiritual in designing academic programs;

5. assess its contribution to the various internal and external constituents according to the needs of time.

LOVE
Focusing and extending minds and hearts to nurture one’s own and another’s good. Love expressed in the LLCC community is not a feeling but an action for the communal good manifested though the time, talent and energy of its members. It is a responsible dedication to utilize available resources and turn them towards humanity’s good.

LEADERSHIP
LLCC strives to develop and mold leaders necessary to realize educational excellence and equity. We establish bold visions and invest others in working towards them. We work in purposeful, strategic, and resourceful ways, define broadly what is within our control to solve, and learn and improve constantly. We operate with a sense of possibility, persevere in the face of challenges, ensure alignment between our actions and beliefs, and assume personal responsibility for results.

COURAGE
The mental, moral and physical strength ingrained among the LLCCians. It carries them through challenges and helps them overcome fear. It is the inner strength that enables an LLCCian to do what is right; to adhere to a higher standard of personal conduct: and to make tough decisions under stress and pressure.
